After waking with a headache Saturday morning, I have canned 7 quarts of bread and butter pickles, 1 quart of baby dill pickles and 10 quarts of tomato soup. Then I made 24 mini apple pies in cupcake pans. Made ham steak and baked potato to go with the pie for supper tonight. Yummmm...house smelled amazing and like fall which has arrived in Minnesota.

That all sounds so good! I'm going to make those mini apple pies, the kids would love them.

the mini pies would do me in for temptation; unless you have room to put them in a freezer. I made a small batch of cinnamon apples with syrup for ice cream; and now I am trying a crockpot carmalized onions to freeze into small batches. You must be wiped out today,

I gave some away to my boss's family this morning. Then I am allowing myself one apple pie today. The rest my family can eat...or I should freeze. They were so cute and much smaller than a regular piece of pie by about a third. Makes it almost possible to have a one without MUCH guilt.
