One more quick journal... i discovered a flaw in my bio/mini goals. I gave myself a deadline.

I knew this.. i always do give myself a timeframe where i'd LIKE to lose the weight by. But if i'm trying hard to just be healthy and fit, my body won't always lose the way i want it to. So i deleted my deadlines and just left my goals and we'll see how long it takes me to get there :)..would still like to be a size 8 by my cruise in Feb, so that alone is my motivation, forget deadlines for the scale to cooperate.. lol

ok i'm gone for real now ;)

I think that's a good plan. Your body is going to lose weight if you follow a healthy eating plan, but it may not conform to your schedule. If you put dates on it, you might do something unhealthy to try and get the weight down on schedule. Let your body set the schedule.

@ runesinger that is exactly what i was thinking.. in the past my desperation has led me to quit or doing drastic things... i can't keep saying its not a rush but put a time frame on my loss... goals/motivation is one thing.. but i can't beat myself up if the things i'm doing is to make me stronger and healthier but don't reflect well on teh scale..

I hear you, I have a bridesmaids dress that needs to fit by Auguest and its sneaking up faster and faster lol I think somewhere along the way we have gotten the false information that if we plan it all out now we will stay on track. We both know that's not how life works :] I am going to start looking a the little picture the things I know I can do for now, not what I can do between now and August. :] who knows if you will be a size 8 by Febuary, I DO know you will be healthier this next week if you stay modivated and that no matter how long it takes your body will fight hard if you fight hard, and that extra weight doesn't stand a chance! :]

thank you for ur motivating words shae!!... i really want to do this..but i really can NOT make it the end of the world if i don't get there when i'd like... i still look better than i ever have and am more physically fit and active than i have ever been.. so i will get there just need to understand my body doesn't always work in my timing.
