Gah! I made some pumpkin muffins this morning and was adding them to my cook book. I left out the splenda... and can't figure out any way to edit it. I really hate doing recipes in Fatsecret anyway because of the wacky portions. Really, why is splenda only available in teaspoons? It is a recipe, I used half a cup = 24 teaspoons. And I can't even comment on it and say I left it out. *facepalm* The muffins are a bit "healthy" tasting but aren't bad with cream cheese.

So I wrote to FS customer service and they gave me the ability to edit that recipe within 24 hours. They do listen. :)

I checked out your recipe, they sound good but how much is a serving of almond flour. I find it helpful for myself the next time I am going to make something if I put in () the actual quantity since I hate how that display of serving works. Who the heck knows how much a serving is anyway. How many muffins does this make? Seems like alot of eggs for a normal dozen muffin recipe.

I know, I hate the "servings" thing. In this case a serving is 1/4 cup (you can click through the ingredient to see that too). So it was 2 cups of almond flour. It made a dozen 2 oz muffins (average, I weighed a few after cooking just to see though I intend to just use FS's numbers for them).
I couldn't say about the eggs. Low carb recipes always seem to call for lots of eggs. I will say that in baking them I actually left out the butter (not on purpose!) and they were just fine without it. My friend teased me about the muffins being low fat *and* low carb.
I swear sinus infections eat your brains even more than zombies.
