Finally under 236, although not by much! I'll take it. Today is the first official weigh in for the biggest loser competition I'm doing. My starting weight last week was 241, which I didn't bother to put on here because A)embarrassing B) Water weight (or more accurately wine weight lol) There is no certain way that we weigh in, just text the weight to the person in charge so I was definitely concerned that someone might think I was cheating. So to give me some back up I take a picture of my weight on the scale every week time and date stamped. I hope that I'm just being paranoid but you never know. I've been doing this for a while, dare I say I'm getting pretty good at it. I wouldn't want someone struggling to take it out of my success. What do you think, am I being crazy?

what do you get for winning the competition? I say anything that keeps you going is great! For me right now it is losing at least as much as my hubby did. I am halfway there! Your weight is still lower than where I am now. If you lost 5 lbs in a week that is amazing and you should be very proud. You are working really hard to accomplish that. I think pictures that are time and date stamped is awesome. You can make a scrapbook of your journey! This losing weight is not as easy as putting it on... Good Luck!

Thank you kmunson! We all bought in to the competition with ten dollars, so when its over winner takes all, and I will be taking all lol. I know that five pounds a week isn't going to stick around too long, although I definitely proud. It has been a learning experience to lose a couple pounds a week and see how fast it turns into something big. You are doing very well yourself! I always remind myself that this is a marathon, not a sprint! You have been a great source of support for me, I really appreciate that. :-)

Same to you Yolanda... I was talking with one of my customers today. I was telling her about Fatsecret and how easy it is to keep track on this site. I always said that there was no way that I could lose weight. Well after losing 35 lbs I KNOW I CAN do this. It just takes a little discipline and planning and anyone can do it. The support on here is priceless if you connect with people.
