Well...yesterday I had my first complete fail day. The snow meant I had no school, no work, no hubby (he works in health care), and no food. I wound up with pizza, wings, soda (so much for Lent). At the time I thought I was going to be so happy with all that food, but of course I just wound up feeling guilty. For the first day since I've started on here, I went to sleep completely in the red. Yuck.

So what have I learned? I cannot be alone and bored, because I go back to food. I need to always keep an emergency stock of some form of healthy food if I do feel the need to binge. Lastly, and this is something I have to remind myself of every morning, today is a new day.

Don't worry! I've done the same thing and bounced back in no time! What helps me (and hopefully you) is to try and remember the guilty feeling you had after you ate. I almost messed up again this week, but just remembered how awful I felt last time. I decided it wasn't worth it and ended up feeling so much better! :)

Hopefully that made sense. I tend to type fast and not proofread. :) I specifically meant "guilty feeling I had after I ate junk food".

I've messed up with junk food a few times, but I've found that the further you get into this process, the easier it is to stay away from the junk. I've gotten so used to the healthier stuff that the junky stuff makes me sick now. Especially pizza. lol Hopefully the same thing will happen for you...it definitely makes the cravings & urges to binge get better.
