I portioned out this week's groceries today so that I will not eat the entire week's food the first day and then starve the rest of the week.

Portioned out foods:

1.25 cups cereal-220 calories
1 cup skim milk- 80 cal.
V-8- 30 cal.
apple- 70 cal.
1 cup grapes-70 cal.
carrots/celery-50 cal.
2 low cal string cheese-100 cal.
1/5 bar fat-free cream cheese-50 cal.
low fat Triscuts-200 cal.
3 hard boiled eggs (whites only)-60 cal.



AND MY WEAKNESS..... Big portion so that I can pig out!!!
Chex Mix- 400 cal.


I am a second shift worker so most of my foods are pack up and go items. I get soooo hungry for REAL FOOD by 10 or 11 p.m. when I get home, so it is hard for me to not eat after 9 p.m. like a normal person. Also, it is difficult for me to get much protein, seeing as meat is hard to cook in a microwave at work and often tastes nasty to be re-heated. Same goes for green veggies- no matter how good the broccoli or asparagus I cook for work tastes before work, by the time I get to it, it tastes like nuked plastic. Ick!!!

Well, I am never going to give up so lets pray this is the week I can get past 150 lbs.
