I had a pretty good weekend despite not managing to eat as regularly as I'd like. I know myself, I do much better if I have a little something every few hours rather than skipping a snack (or meal).

Friday I blew the regular eating thing. I was playing WoW most of the morning and then I realized I needed to run errands before folks got off work and flooded the markets. I got to the pharmacy and realized it was 2pm and I had never eaten lunch. I looked in their nutritionals section and found that they do carry Atkins bars. I know it isn't legal for induction but I had an almond crunch bar rather than brave fast food. I'm okay with that (and it was yummy!!!) but I need to plan better.

My Saturday meetings went fine. Everyone teased me as a brought a pizza from the first one to the second one. But hey, the first meeting was at one of the best pizza places in Berkeley. I admit I was really glad the meeting was in their back patio where I could smell fresh air and green things instead of pizza dough for the whole meeting. At my second meeting I had another Atkins person and a really good friend to us both who made sure to bring legal snacks (rosemary roast beef, yum!).

Sunday was harder. The potluck was really skewed toward sweets and rice dishes. The kitchen goddess didn't put out any protein for any of the breaks (saving it for dinner). I had packed cheese but this group usually has much better food and I had to rely on my cheese (celery was their only legal food!) By about 6:30 I just needed to get out of there and have something real to eat. Luckily the DH didn't mind ditching the last exercise of the day and getting home at a reasonable hour. We were both starving.

And so I only lost .4 lb this week. This week will be better. Next week in New Orleans... we'll see. But this week I plan to get it right.
