Sure did..

Steroids usually inflame the liver making the abdomen large. His doesn't look like other that use roids. Could just be a genetic frea_?

Mike Ashley always claimed to be 100% natural, pretty sure I remember an article where he did the one-meal-a-day thing, too.

From a female perspective, that is gross. There is such a thing as too much muscle! Doesn't look the least bit natural. I know not everyone will agree with those statements, JMO.

that's why :)

Wonder if he would have beaten Arnold in '75 had he not been told he wouldn't be allowed to compete.

@LSG417 I kind of like a man with meat on his bones. LoL. I like when a guy can pick you up and put you on his hip and carry you around like a little kid. OK I WILL STOP! To the NO NO corner Marsha!

Steroids now are worse than back then, that’s why the “bubble gut” phenomenon happens more now then it down when this guy was around, like Arnold and Lou Ferrigno (Original hulk actor)... but the dude pictured is 100% on gear! The muscular structure is usually the easiest way to go by, larger than usual deltoids, (shoulder muscles) and maintaining 5-6% body fat all year round while gaining muscle. Etc and so fourth. But the best way to tell for this picture, the downward facing nipples. Gynecomastia, in various forms, is when males develop “moobies” due to the excess testosterone from the drugs, which causes the body to overcompensate by increasing estrogen levels. So usually if you see nipply problems, dude isn’t natty.... although rare occasions some men just have wacky ass nips lol 😂

😪I noticed I need to correct myself, the more accurate answer is due to the excessive amount of testosterone from (insert any steroids here) causes the body to attempt to re-establish hormonal balance by converting the excess testosterone to estradiol (essentially estrogen) 👍🏻

It's because these days the freaks use multiple steroid compounds and HGH. They call the distended bellies HGH gut. Also, 3-4 separate protein feedings is ideal going by recent findings by Alan Aragon and other experts. Of course that is optimal and not required for some amazing results. At the end of the day, total calorie intake is what matters and a good amount of protein. Aproximately .8 grams per kilo of bodyweight. Use your approximate lean mass weight if that makes it easier to hit that goal.

I just wish I had 5 hrs to lift per day like he did.. Maybe I'd have a 1% chance of getting below 10%bf like him 😂😩

Eh, more training just makes me hungrier. Calorie restriction is the best way to get to low bf levels.

Also, the majority of workout routines that these bodybuilders are doing are much more beneficial for them than the average genetic male/female specifically just BECAUSE they’re on drugs. @Cb1006 you’ll get there, just keep being consistent 👍🏻

Yep, definitely true. They can get away with insane amounts of volume. A good 45 min to an hour is good for the average lifter. Maybe up to 1.5 hours depending on rest periods and the amount of time you're playing on your smartphone, lol!

That’s usually what I average out on my days, 45-1hr

It should be pointed out that much less time is needed in the gym lifting than 90 minutes, etc., for health and results. You can get deep muscle fatigue, build muscle, reverse metabolic syndrome, lower BP, increase V02, etc, by as little as 15 minutes per week, if you follow certain HIT protocols. Granted a lot guys and gals want to push and get as much benefit as possible, but if your goal is health improvement, it can be done very efficiently.
