Spent all day yesterday in airports, and finally arrived home around 6 p.m. Was booked, rebooked, and again booked on flights that were to leave, but then were cancelled. I think the stress from the last two days, combined with poor eating choices and not enough water - I'm done for. No energy at all.

On the positive side, I think that trying to be healthy has made me more aware. I made the best dietary choices possible yesterday (although should have worked harder to drink more water), so at least I didn't lose ground. And, although I went to the gym this morning, I was in tune with my body enough to know that I needed to keep the workout light, and let my body finish healing. So, while minor disappointment that I didn't get a kick-ass workout in... very happy that I didn't over do it and thereby possibly throw me off course completely!

I don't know how you travel and stay within your goals! This is very hard. You only have 9, count them, 9 more pounds to go!! You are very much ahead of schedule! This is why you are HOTCHICK#1!

I had forgotten what "me" felt like. But I'm starting to remember! More energy, more confidence, more willingness to do stuff instead of staying in the house. And super happy that hubby is going to gym with me. As we approach "empty nester" status (at least I hope we are approaching it) it is nice that we have this added area of interest.
