Its February 1st and by March 1st I would like to be 185. I want to lose 15 pounds this month and I know it will take some serious dedication and working out. I am going to buy the GNC lean shake today and replace two meals. I did well on my diet for Dec. but the last four days veered off a bit. I don't know where I read or saw this but it said something like a former alcoholic cant have one drink of alcohol so if you have an eating problem you cant just overeat and think you can stop. Okay it went something like that. Well I do think it's kind of true. I went a month with complete discipline and decided to eat junk with the kids and fiance the other night when playing mononopoly and it turned into four days of eating whatever and whenever I want..not cool... so I learned a personal lesson for Jasmine... I cannot treat my body that way.

Andresgirl you got it right on, 95% of people when they go on diets can't stop when they go on eating binges. Some dieters can't take only one bit or one drink when they go cold turkey off of foods, snacks, and drinks they are addicted to. This is why it is important not to focus on diets. Think of your new journey in terms of eating healthy. Tell yourself, I am changing my life style. Like you did when you moved to a new city, think back at the reasons you made those changings. Why did you move so you could start over and take you life back again. Thinking about diets opens the door for you to lose control of your eating habits. When people dwell on dieting that is when they make bad decisions, because you worked yourself into a stew thinking you have to have those things you are craving. Learn to eat less and healthy Andresgirl, if you can master this then you will find later on when you have learned self control you can have some of the things you like without going overboard. Don't do these quick diet plans, you will only find yourself gaining back twice as much when you go off of them. Calorie control will help you learn to eat less.
