I've been using fatsecret since Feb 2009. Wow. That's a long time. Almost 8 years. I don't remember how I found out about it, or why I started using it. But it's always there for me. There have been long gaps where for whatever reason I've decided that my health and my choices just aren't that important, that self-indulgence in general and over-indulging in sweets in particular, is ok. But when I shake myself out of that illusion and get motivated to regain my health, I know I can rely on fatsecret to help me re-focus. I can find a challenge that restarts me; I can record my weigh-ins to keep me honest; I can find a buddy if I need one; I can find several forum posts that motivate me; I can find groups that I identify with, that know my struggles. Thank you, fatsecret, for always being here for me.
