My back finally got better by Sunday. I did really well with my eating on Saturday. So, that means I didn't cheat for the first 4 days of Phase I. Then, Sunday was Mother's Day. It started off great. Before I went to church, I had an apple. By time church was over I was soooo hungry.
My husband took me to this restaurant that has extraordinary caesar salads. Well, I cheated by having some shrimp w/ my hubby. I didn't feel too guilty about it since it is allowed on Phase II. Then, I had my caesar salad. THEN, him and my son (who is 3) got 2 different desserts. My son had a HUGE piece of triple layer chocolate cake. (it barely fit on the plate) My husband was like, "Come on, it's Mother's Day. Enjoy yourself." It didn't take a whole lot of coaxing for me to give in. So, I helped my son eat the chocolate cake (which we couldn't even finish). After that, I just felt like why even try to stay on the diet for the rest of the day. So, I ate whatever I wanted. Although, I did do a 20 mins Turbo Jam DVD. :)
Now... it's Monday (day 6 of Phase I). I may have messed up 1 day out of 9 but I am not cheating ANYMORE!!! I can do this! So, I'm starting strict again today. I'm not going to start the whole Phase I over again. I think I'll just add on one more day. So, now instead of starting Phase II on Friday, I'll start on Saturday.
