Weight is such a nasty word. We are always embarrassed about it and it seems people like to talk about it when we are over weight. We all know how and what to eat but there is something in our brains that says "nope" eat things that are bad for us and do not worry about it does to us.

Back in January I bought a Nutrisystem kit at Walmart for $40.00 the food was okay, it was nothing to write home about but those short 5 days that I had the food showed me just how much I was over eating. So I finally got off my butt and started eating right, I think the biggest deal is that I write everything down that I eat. Sure it is a pain in the backside, however; 20 pounds latter I am feeling pretty good about my progress. I still have 40-50 pounds to go, it is one step at a time, one bite at a time.

Great job! Sometimes people question/malign those diet meal programs, but I think you've given a really great reason they can be truly helpful to people. Keep up the great work!

As I always say ... to maintain your health and manage your weight -- it is not a "Die-it" but a "Live-It".

You got this Bruce! U figured out u were overeating now you cut your calories and u log everything! To me that is most important, you have to know your percentages so You can work toward your goal, your 40-50lbs will come off bc you are focused and determined. Give yourself time too bc it takes time😉👍🏻
