So, I'm off work today and would normally walk 2 miles but my body hurts so bad after 3 12s in a row. I wish I was strong enough to just do it but I can't. With an autoimmune disease, I remind myself that my pain is a warning that I've overdone it and rest is warranted. Doesn't make me feel less lazy. I'm going to try a hot shower and hope the weather gets better (rainy and gloomy) so I can maybe do it this evening.

Another day off tomorrow to get it in if not. Giving myself some grace is something I'm working on.

Just a thought melkay, but when so tired like that what about doing some chair exercise just to give yourself a light workout? There are loads of them. I call my 76 year old auntie who lives in another state and put her thru chair workouts because she has such sever neuropathy she has no feeling from calf down. Just a thought.

That is a good idea! Luckily the hot shower and some ibuprofen have me feeling loads better and I'm going to get out there tonight and do my walking and make my family come with. The sun has come out and it's pretty warm right now or I'd just go right now! Had I still been sore, I would have definitely tried something gentle like yoga to get me moving without increasing pain.
