So, I started 5mg Mounjaro last Friday and every calorie is a struggle. I can't get enough protein because I don't want to eat. I'm even having a hard time getting all my water in. I was doing 96-128 Oz of water a day and now I'm struggling to get 64.

The 2.5 didn't start this way but I definitely felt it was not working as well by week 4. I hope that happens with the 5mg. I don't think I'll continue to increase my dose unless it just really stops working. 5mg is the lowest maintenance dose, so it makes sense to sit here for a while.

I gave up on Pilates, there were some things I couldn't do because of the size of my belly and it just made me feel bad about myself. I believe I'll try walking and attempt 2 miles a day when I'm off work. (Which is not often lately, so I'll have to figure out something for those days too.)

Overall, I am starting to see and feel a difference. My scrubs are getting loose, I have a jawline again. I can get my fingers around my wrist again and when I ordered new compression socks last week I was able to order a normal size instead of the wide calf! I'm down 2 inches in my waist (haha, what waist?) and hips and an inch in my bust. Husband is happy the bust is staying! 😅

And I had noticed my feet and hands were skinnier in the first week or two... I'm down a size in gloves at work, my rings are spinning on my fingers and I had to tighten the buckles on my sandals. All little things but when I look in the mirror I'm reminded that this is working.

Cruise is less than 60 days away! I think I'm going to have to order some clothes that fit. I'm afraid to do it now because I don't know what size. And immediately after I return will be my hysterectomy. Looking forward to October! Hoping by the time I return to work I've had to buy all new scrubs and a new wardrobe. (Though how I'll do that without my paycheck for 6 weeks is a question. I'll cross that bridge when i come to it.)
