Hello again FS Warriors! Day 3 of my fast winding down, getting ready to go to bed. I'm in a good mood feeling a bit restless because of thunderstorms all day keeping us penned inside the house. The break from the heat was a blessing, but we and the dogs are suffering from cabin fever ATM! I wanted to end this day with a message to everyone about being kind to yourself. By being kind, I don't mean give it your body everything it craves. I mean look at it with love, appreciate the beauty of its function and all the things it has done for you to continue to wake up in the mornings. It's designed to survive and adapt, no matter the circumstances. And since we are all able to read this post, it's been successful. Thank your body for all it does for you without you even being conscious of it. Give it what it needs, not what it wants to live your best life. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but when you love yourself, the glow of the beauty inside flows outwards and can be seen and appreciated by all. Spread your glow, love yourselves, love others and make this world a better place. Good Night all and sweet dreams!

Thanks Zen, I went to bed last night with a sense of profound gratitude for my body and it rewarded me with disrupted sleep as I Wooshed out un-needed fluids and waste. I grumbled at it a few times as I hurried to the bathroom every hour. But it does what it needs to do when it needs to do it, I'm just along for the ride! LOL!

You are exactly, right, Deb! The body is amazing! I used to have that problem going to the bathroom every hour on my last journey, even when I was down in the 140's. It would aggravate me so bad. I haven't had it that bad this time so far. Crazy that I kinda miss it, because I now understand what was happening. Getting rid of all of that fluid/inflammation is a blessing!

If I can get it going like it was back then, I promise I will not grumble! 🙏

I guess my body is at odds with my focus on good sleep hygiene. But with fasting and the repairs that go with the rest and restore period, I guess there has to be a night that it chooses to unload the results of it's work.

I think you are absolutely correct, my friend! As we say, the body is smart. It knows what & when to do it. All we have to do is give it the right circumstances to do its job optimally. 🙂

Those moments are worth cherishing Glen, when you are at peace inside yourself you become at peace with the world and can truly appreciate the beauty of the world around you. It's great to be in love with LIFE! We are here but for a very short time and many of us waste so much of it in a state of self-hate. We are surrounded by blessings, they are too numerous to count. An attitude of gratitude leaves you open to receiving even more blessings and accepting of the love that is offered to you.
