I am not the grocery shopper in my house but I did it today. I love Aldi -- got so much good fruit, and healthy lunch options. I took my 17 year old and he wanted all kinds of stuff...I just said yes to everything. He mostly just wanted fruit!
I have been stalled off and on. I get on the scale entirely too often. Noom preaches to weigh every day and I think it's not good for me. It tends to cause me to be very calorie restrictive if I have a bad weigh in which is not helpful long term.
I start therapy tomorrow to help with my anxiety and I'm going to talk about this with her. I may need my husband to hide the scale from me and only let me weigh in once or twice a week. I know he is freaked out about the amount of food I eat... some of it is Mounjaro and just not being hungry. Some of it is old unhealthy habits...my dad has been dead for over 20 years and I am hearing his voice in my head again saying "do you really need to eat that?" like he did when I was a teenager. It is giving me a really yucky feeling.
But in a NSV, I can now where my pretty bras again! Insert happy dance here!
