Starting to slow down some. I'm sure I am not eating enough. Luckily I don't want more. Eventually my metabolism will catch up to the new intake vs output and I'll start dropping. I can wait! My next Mounjaro rx has been sent in and I'll be going up to 5mg. Looking forward to that! My motivation is still good, but I see myself waning a bit in my efforts so I think the increase in dose will be like a little jump start to get things going again.

A PA at work is married to a personal trainer and she is concerned I haven't started exercising yet. The truth is, it hurts. I have an autoimmune disease and there's a fine line. I am working way too much right now to end up with a setback that might force me to take time off. I am having a hysterectomy in October and will be off at least a month. I hope to start some gentle exercise during that time and advance as I get more weight off. If I set up the habit then, I hope it will be easy to continue after I get back to work.

I am still feeling confident in my efforts. For the first time in my life I think I can get this weight off and keep it off. My coworkers are fascinated... they bring all kinds of stuff trying to convince me to eat... chips and salsa, cookies, donuts, ordering lunch in... nothing interests me. I am so thankful for this medicine to give me the help I need to stick with this long term.
