Turned 57 this week. Feel better than ever.
I started working out regularly about 2 - 1/2 years ago. I thought 3 days a week was going to kill me. At times I felt like I was going to have a heart attack...breaking out in serious sweats...palpitations....dizziness but I learned to just relax and pick up again.
My sugar levels are now normal now without medications and my blood work cholesterol is all good. There's a lot to be said for regular exercise.
My weight hasn't budged much but tracking what I eat using Fatsecret makes me feel more in control and eating healthier has helped with many conditions plaguing me. I guess it's never to late to get off your butt and make changes.
Last night after a long day at work I hit the gym for an hour (skipped the stepper)..came home and mowed my hilly yard with a push mower for 2 - 1/2 hours...hot and muggy. When I got done I went back to work with my home business and finally hit the sack around 10:30...just another day. Now it's morning and it's back to work feeling good.
