GOALS, GOALS, GOALS!!!

So, tomorrow is going to be the 1st of May. By mid June, it'll be 2 years since I had my daughter and I'll be turning 25. I hope to be at my goal weight by then.

I see Dr. Oz now has a May diet. I'm thinking about following it since I had great results with his 2-week rapid weight loss diet. It's also very similar to it. I find that I do better when I have a plan to stick to.

Yesterday, I went to pick up some things from the mall and I went into the infamous department store dressing rooms. I made sure to lock the door behind me and then I saw myself. I could then see that I have lost weight and some inches. It's kind of hard to see at times because I don't have such a big, long mirror in the house. I'm actually starting to learn how to smile back at my reflection than to have that you need to do something face.

I hope you all are persevering the pain and waiting for the results! We are in this together and we can do this! Don't lose sight!

Good insights!!!! On the need for a sustainable plan AND being able to SEE a difference in the mirror AND learning to smile at yourself...(Why is it that so many of us have had GENUINE smiles for everyone else across the years, but only scowls and frowns at our reflection in the mirror??) But we are WORKS in PROGRESS...:) Let us celebrate ALL of ours!!!

Why is it so hard for us to see our progress? We see our faults so much easier. Even though I know I have had to put away the bigger sizes, and pull clothes out of the "these are too small" bag, I still see myself the same. I actually did what you did, Meohmy, I saw myself in a mirror and was surprised that I wasn't as big as I was before. I knew that somewhere down inside, but I don't see it. Good luck on the new diet.
