This was my breakfast today:
Plum Salad
One plum, slightly underripe, cut into about 5 mm cubes 1/4 apple, cut into about 8 mm cubes 10 blackberries About 1/4 cup blueberries (frozen are fine) Sprinkling of finely shredded kale, maybe a tbsp 1 tbsp finely minced ginger root 1 tbsp finely minced turmeric root (You might want less ginger and turmeric but I’m a G&T freak. I think I actually put more than this in.) 1/8 tsp allspice 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1/2 tsp cinnamon (I used Ceylon cinnamon and I highly recommend it) 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/2 cup yogurt (I used HEB vegan unsweetened almond yogurt)
Cut up all the stuff, put the spices in, pour the yogurt on and mix. Yum.
I made a different plum salad yesterday, it was more of a greens salad with plums in it. Experimenting with firm, slightly underripe plums.
