Fasted today. I just felt so bloated from all the food I managed to consume yesterday! Why did I DO that? A really long hike, ate plenty DURING the hike, came home and we had one of those Celebrator beers - the one awarded 98 points and voted best beer in the world. And yep, it WAS yummy. Hubby wanted tortilla chips and I've figured out they need to be banned from my life. Apparently I have NO control when it comes to that crunchy, slightly salty "goodness" in a tortilla chip. Ate many, many of those and had cheese and crackers, too. A lot of cheese and crackers.

What kills me about blowing all those calories on a day when I really SHOULD have had a nice deficit? It wasn't on something like a meal - enchiladas or a nice burger... something WORTH the millions of calories. NOT crackers and cheese and tortilla chips. Oh well. Can't go back, though, right? Gotta own it. So there.

My knee is much better today, even able to do a workout. It wasn't super intense, but it still included things like squats and lunges. So must be okay. Still sore, but now more toward the inside of the kneecap (which is where it usually hurts) rather than the outside of it. So all is well. Tomorrow is a new day and if my previous fasts were any indication, I'll feel much better about my tummy and hopefully get that little bit of "high" I've felt having been able to control my food intake again. I know... I only blew it the one day. It just seems so unnecessary, you know?

It is what it is......or we should change that to what it WAS......yep chips and cheese and crackers.....past! Done n over. NO STRESS. And on the positive YOU did have the hike to balance out the eating......so even tho not a big deficit day......also not a BIG gain day!!!!! You gotta going on.......YOUR doing good.
