I had a pretty epic cheat day on Saturday. We had some buddies over so we cooked up burgers, sausages, macaroni and cheese and cracked open some tasty beer left over from my birthday. I guessed my totals and added them up on Sunday evening and felt really crappy. Actually even before I totaled up my calorie binge, I felt crappy physically and mentally. I don't know if it was worth indulging so much in all that food! I could have skipped the tater tots and eaten my burger lettuce wrapped or over spinach. I could have eaten less macaroni and cheese (though in my defense it was freaking amazing mac 'n cheese.) I could have had less beer. Next time we have buddies over, I will try to make better choices.

In other news, I cooked up some rolled oats for lunch today. Usually I eat steel cut oats cooked in a rice cooker, but we're fresh out of the good stuff. I thought hey, since I love steel cut oats so much, maybe I'll finally be over my childhood aversion to rolled oats! Hell no. This stuff tastes like boiled paper. Honey and butter made it palatable, but I'm really struggling to get through this bowl. I just keep reminding myself how great my poops will be after a healthy dose of soluble fiber.

I pulled a muscle in my left buttcheek. I should take more time to warm up my muscles before I lift.
