Looking back at my calendar, I have gained about 20 pounds in the last year, putting that on in the first six months, and then basically maintaining ever since. While I'm aware that stress and depression contributed to my weight gain, and I'm thankful that I did manage to stop gaining and hold steady, I am really hoping to see a downward trend again. Today will be a good day. 💜💛💚

Shir, you've lost so much in the past few years. Perhaps you were ready for a period of consolidation. A new set point. At some time, you'll be ready to start losing again.

Thanks everyone, it has been a difficult year. I'm trying to take it one day at a time. And even though the Braves won the series last night, which made Sherry very happy, I managed not to smother my disappointment with food.

Thank you Tim. I don't have the big family meals at my place anymore, so no tempting leftovers at least. I manage holidays much better than I handle the middle of those sleepless nights.

when are you going to start swimming again? wearing out your body may make it easier to sleep.

Kat, I need to lose five pounds before I can squeeze back into my swimsuit, which was already tight because I was planning on losing, not gaining. And, I refuse to go back to a larger size. So, that's near the top of my list, as the gym does not allow skinny-dipping.
