I'm learning about the 5:2 Fast Diet. Much to my surprise, the time leading up to the fast and the time right after the fast is most tricky for me and requires good planning. Since my goal is to do an 8:00 pm to 8:00 pm fast, I need to have a good healthy meal ready before and after my fast, this requires planning and good timing on my part.

I was worried about the actual fast part, which was easy in my opinion. The curve ball was making sure I got a good meal in on time before the fast and having one ready after the fast.

Over all I am excited about this diet plan. I feel great this week. Even though I had some treats, I know my over all caloric intake was down.

Onward and downward :)
