Sunday started out as a good day with good choices packed for a day at the lake. Had issues with the boat (perhaps major), hubby was in a very bad mood. We had to pull the boat out and the afternoon went downhill from there. I ran errands, and ended up dropping the hubby off at home (should have just left him there originally but hoped doing errands would prove to be a distraction). After a little retail therapy, found myself suddenly starving, surrounded by fast food restaurants and decided to pick up the man for a bite at a local restaurant instead.
Several healthy choices, but opted for a bbq chicken quesadilla loaded with cheese and a couple of glasses of wine. I suspect well over my cal. limit for day. Fingers crossed it doesn't show on the scale, but we'll see. Lesson: I need to start keeping a healthy snack on me at all times like maybe a protein bar.
I guess if we have a 'cheat day' this was mine. I'm grateful for the fact that we have our health and the boat issue is - well it's a boat. Lucky to have one, and the issues just come with the territory. Just goes to show how even a well-intended day diet and otherwise can go sideways. Today is a new day, and I will plan to have a healthy snack on me or nearby! Sunken ship kind of day nearly literally.
