Going back to low carb and starting this journal to keep track of my eating. I lost a huge amount of weight on low carb once before (150+ lbs) and then went back to my old way of eating and gained all but 50 lbs back over the last 2 years. I realize now that I have to take this more seriously and make a commitment for life.

Today, I'm 2 days post-op for Cardiac Ablation surgery for A-Fib. They burned 53 spots in my heart. My recovery is going great and I feel better every day, but the cardiologist wants me to now consider WLS because he said the right side of my heart is thickened, from breathing problems. He blames this on my sleep apnea (have been using cpap faithfully for about a month now) and my weight. I'll be 44 years old this year. It's time for me to make serious changes in my life.
