jmdmaracazzo's Journal, 22 April 2021

I gave myself a bit of a cheat day and totally blew it in trusting myself to be responsible, but I recovered mentally, pushed myself to just calm down and think about the tips I have from my coaches to recover, went for a walk, drank plenty of water, and I'll be sure to weigh myself in the morning but not react, and just keep on going! That's all I can do!

That's right! At least allow yourself to have a bit of a splurge day. But not go overboard. Keep at it, you got this!

Jmd, Brother, you have the right attitude. We all slip and fall along our journey. As you travel along your journey there will be highs and lows. The good news is that you have the right mental attitude. You will accomplish your goal, it's just a matter of time. All of our biggest obstacles take place in our minds. I gained so much support and confidence in myself when I read Joyce Meyer's book, "Battlefield of the Mind". It truly changed me and taught me how to deal with my greatest challenges. You have the whole Fat Secret Community behind you lifting you up during your journey. Praying for you Brother , hang in there. JR

I overdo cheat days too. It's easy to do. But if it's just the one day your body adjusts and gets back to where it was within a few days. Drinking water really helps too, I always feel like it will help flush out all the bad stuff I ate. Maybe it doesn't but I usually feel better.
