Ever since I've used the Real Keto Calculator to get my macros, bought a food scale, and signed up for fatsecret, I have now a significantly better idea of exactly how much of what I should be eating (I had a stall of about seven weeks after starting keto, which I think may have been attributed to being longer than it should have due to not drinking as much water as I should have/eating too much protein/not realizing how much I was eating). That little pie chart at the bottom is awesome for making sure my ketogenic ratio is correct when used in conjunction with the aforementioned keto calculator link.

My weight loss is now quite steady, I love the way I feel, and I look forward to my continuing progress. I've done "slow carb" (and had cut out sugars years ago) for the longest time but I wasn't doing myself any favors by including whole grains or fruits.

My only regret is that I didn't join fatsecret sooner. Here's to continued success, and hope that others find their experiences with keto as satisfying as I do on mine.
