Today there was a potluck at work for a girl that is leaving. I stayed strong all day watching people eat all this pizza, cookies, brownies, cake, breadsticks, chocolate dunkers from Pizza Hut...it was pure torture, and I was so proud of myself and then it happened. I had to go into the room where all this food had been sitting all day to give the oncoming shift report, and smelling that pizza, breadsticks, brownies, cake, etc...FOR 20 MINUTES...with the boxes "literally" under my nose. I caved, and instead of just sticking to ONE breadstick, I HAD THREE!!!!! What is wrong with me? Three cold breadsticks that had been sitting there for hours...when there was perfectly good cold pizza sitting there that might've tasted better (AND I could've had 2 pieces for the same amt of points as the three crappy breadsticks!)...not to mention part of a cookie someone had cut in half that I grabbed as I finally walked out of the building. I am so disappointed in myself...and I am right at my daily points limit for the day and we haven't even had supper. I guess I will be sticking to a huge veggie salad tonight...with salsa for dressing. God...why did I do that? I guess I could "chalk it up" to stress. I am taking boards for my RN license this week, and also have a funeral this weekend. I usually can save all my flex points for the weekend dinner out with the family...so hopefully this wont mess up my weigh in tomorrow or thursday, whichever day ends up working the best with this hectic schedule. I am just glad to be moving away from that monday weigh in day. Not good when you use your flex points on weekends! There's always tomorrow...now I better get off this computer and take my flabby breadstick filled a$$ downstairs to the treadmill
