Starting 2 new challenges today. The first one is to walk a state in a month, the state is Rhode Island so I have to work 40 miles over the next 30 days, that should not be to hard to do. The second challenge is 500 cal a day for 5 days and then eat all you want for two. I can handle the 500 a day but eating anything I want for two days, wow that is going to be hard to do, I do not want to go backwards and then go back to old habits.

Hi Bruce. Some people are eating the 5:2 Intermittent Fast every week. You eat two 600 calorie days and regularly the other 5. I think 500 calories for 5 days a week is pretty severe.

Mom2boxers you are so right about the 500 being very severe I am trying it however it is not working out to well, I can come in between 600 and 700, I am doing a lot of vegetables and focusing on keeping my carbs between 50-75. I hope all is going well for you. Thanks for the support it really helps.

You are welcome Bruce. Remember, you can always changeover your "diet" plans as you go through this journey. There is some great advice in FS as there are a lot of old troopers here that have done just about everything. Have a great weekend!
