I am starting this all over again. 225 and some change is not a good weight for me, not at five feet and five inches, and not at age 42. To hell with this noise, right?

I am challenging myself to lose about 25 pounds before Christmas. That's about two and a half pounds a week. I can do this... just cut out most, if not all, sodapops... most, if not all, fast food (sometimes people bring it to me, and it would be terribly rude to tell them "I can't - I'm on a diet" when they spent good money they can't afford to be nice)... try to walk a bit every day, at least until I can afford a membership at the all-women's gym... Yeah, I can do this.

I think.

Yeah, I know I can.

Hells, I haven't been 200 or less since before I left California. I hate this, and I hate these past eight and a half months with even more excess weight smooshed on me.

At any rate, I will try to get this done by Christmastime.... THIS year, not next! *laughs*
