Day 8:
I have found that my crock pot is my best friend:D I don't have to worry about dinner for my work days, which used to be one of my excuses for not choosing healthy options.
I also have been exercising my willpower muscle, although I haven't really had any REAL cravings that lasted longer than 10 seconds. But when my husband asked where we can eat tonight after our movie I said anywhere, and he said, "Well aren't you on some kind of diet so we can't just go anywhere?!" And I said," Yes we can I'm eating healthier not dieting, I'm pretty sure I can find at least a healthy salad anywhere, it's not a problem so pick a place." I refuse to let food rule not only my life but my husbands as well. So he chose one of our fave deli's and I asked for a salad minus the unhealthy sides that came with it, no problem. Before I would have caved and just ate a nice giant sandwich and chips etc. So I am proud that I am actively finding solutions to eating better and making it a non issue.
