Weekend was good. My birthday was good. We did most of the celebrating in Florida, so we didn't do much on the actual date. My 3 year old son did get me a present which was a new John Deere tractor toy that he could play with! At least he keeps saying "it's Mommy's tractor"! We didn't get to go out Saturday night for dinner. Instead we stayed home and ordered pizza. Plus my DH got some carrot cake cupcakes and a cadbury dessert cake. The highlight was having the two of them sing happy birthday to me! Yesterday we celebrated my mom's, my brother-in-law's and my birthdays with the family. Just a nice dinner and then some hanging out for the afternoon. So, I did eat a little bit extra this weekend but you only have a birthday once a year! And you need a splurge from time to time!

Back to the routine this week. It's a bit chilly today, but I plan to get out a lunch and go for a run. And back on track for eating better too today. This evening a plan to make applesauce. Hopefully, my little guy will help me! He enjoys helping to cook, especially when it comes to stirring!
