Got the okay to increase my thyroid dosage to the full 65 gr. tablet. I sure hope this helps. Hot flashes worse, weight loss slowed down (haven't recorded my weight since it went UP - 147.2 today - so much for losing 6 lbs in two weeks!), lack of energy and motivation, etc. I did take the other half of the pill yesterday afternoon, having to wait until my stomach was empty. So this morning I've taken the full dose and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Decent workout yesterday, fairly good calorie burn for the day - 2675. Good on calories yesterday, too - 1175. If I could just duplicate that I should lose three pounds this next week. Actually, I'm hoping to drop the added couple of pounds in the next day or two. Does it take a week to put on weight from overeating and drinking?? 'Cause I was up a little when we came home from CA, but dropped it within a couple of days. And it's back now...

I did Cardio Max 1 & 2, and did Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism (53 min. plus the 30 min. cardio and 5 min. warm-up). Felt pretty energetic this morning, considering. Then I vacuumed the downstairs for the most part, and the stairs. Going to go in the pool for a bit, mostly relaxing, but maybe I'll shoot some baskets or do a few laps.

So I'm going to concentrate on drinking lots of water, taking my vitamins (again - been really bad about that), sticking to the diet plan and trying to work out a minimum of 70 min. per day.

Oh poor you: that must be so frustrating. Hope the increase in your med's make all the difference. Do you need regular blood tests to check your levels of thyroid-extracts (not quite sure a thyroid does? produces hormones?) ______________ But really good on your exercise, way exceeding your calories. Wow (quickly adding): that's pretty well 90 minutes of cardio, not including the vacuuming? _____ Are you taking multi-vitamins? I've got a bottle of calcium tablets by the bed (apparently they're more effective if you take them at night) but always forget to take them.

RWL, Dad gummit, I was so hoping that the dosage your doctor started you on was going to be the answer. I am praying that upping the dosage takes care of the problems you are having. You have really been battling and it is time you got a break!! Great job on the exercise! You are doing fantastic!! I will never again complain about losing only 8.8 pounds in 6 weeks. You are truly inspirational. Even with all these problems, you keep on going and stay on track! I am impressed!
