Yesterday I blew it on the diet... which ended up affecting the exercise. Office Christmas party at a restaurant. I picked what I thought was about the healthiest choice - clam chowder and caesar salad, knowing that this was still a high calorie meal. It kicked up my blood sugars and I increased my insulin. Apparently the insulin load was too much. I went to exercise after work. I didn't feel good on the treadmill and realized that my blood sugars were going really, really low. I nearly passed out.

I went to my car, slammed down an Atkins bar knowing that this would not raise my blood sugar much and that I was going to need more carbs. 7-11 was close by. I bough chocolate milk and snickers. I slammed them down. Yes the blood sugars came up, but now I felt horrible... headache, nausea. Ended up going home and crawling into bed for the night. All in all... high calorie diet day, low calorie exercise day.
