Here's some more numbers. It seems the highest loss in the last 7 months was January's. But, I gained 10lbs+ in water weight in the last couple days of December so those numbers are skewed.

I don't add in NEAT, and use the BMR and activity I track on my garmin for exercise(treadmill & lifting). That automatically tracks "active" calories by my heart rate. So any low level activity isn't really added in to my total exercise calories..

So good you track your numbers. When you gain, what do the macros look like? When you lose, what do the macros look like? Your weight loss in response to your macros looks like mine :) Good luck on your journey!

I wish I knew these answers.. It seems like there's no rhyme or reason most times. I gain after being good, I lose 3 lbs after eating 6k calories. It's still a mystery to me even looking at macros, sodium, etc...

Perhaps add the carbs and the protein together each month and see the relation? For me I only lose when both are low.

Could the gains be caused by your having completed more muscle building exercises?
