Well the pie situation turned out well— I had a piece and shortly thereafter my neighbor called and they had people who just dropped by to visit so they wanted to know what I had in the freezer for dessert. They were thrilled by the pie even with one piece missing. Our other neighbor had vanilla ice cream, I had pie and caramel sauce. Sooo tomorrow they are going to make us radish leaves sautéed with garbonzo bean flour. It’s my favorite! And BBQ lamb. Good trade off I think.
