My knees hurt with all these squats I'm doing in my gym classes. They honestly hurt so much that I just want to stop.... burning, sore sensation.... sigh. I have to work through it though and find a way. Maybe they hurt because of the weight on them... I would like to think that... that way I know if I continue working hard, then I will eventually lose weight and my knees will get better. No weigh in as yet... if I do step on a scale and it's not less, then I won't post it... I may change my mind but I only want to see down ward movements.

if your knees are hurting that badly, maybe ask if theres an alternative movement you could do. squats (done with proper form) should strengthen you knee support. And if you're getting burning/inflammation, it won't help.

The instructors have shown me some low impact moves but I sometimes go the "regular" move to try and push myself... maybe that's where I'm going wrong. I will try not to aggravate them too much. Almost no pain this morning, just "normal" post work out soreness :-)
