I have had weight issues since I was a child. When I finished college six years ago, I was able to loose about 40 pounds in six months as a high school science teacher. The next year, I returned to school to work on a Ph.D., and over the the last five years I have regained most of the weight.
I'm now approaching 30 with an 18 month old boy. I don't want him to have to face the same challenges of being a chubby teenager - I think a big part of that will be to demonstrate healthy eating and exercise habits. I want to loose the weight again, but this time keep it off.
