Amazing lunch at home - salad with shrimp. 510 cals and 40g protein. So. Good.

Back to tracking my food and back to 1600 cals on non-workout days to lean out a little. Breakfast today is 320 cals and 38g of protein - 2 eggs, liquid egg whites, a sprinkle of parm, and salsa.

When your massive DOMS trigger a migraine, it’s Gatorade for breakfast. 💙

Just got back from a work retreat in Miami and brought back a lovely sunburn with me. 😅 Regardless of this, it was wonderful to get away for a bit and take a break from my regular life routine. It was only 3 days, but I feel like I’ve been away for a week. I did indulge in food and drinks, and didn’t work out at all. It’s back to reality now and back to my healthy way of eating and working out. I got produce, tofu, shrimp, and chickpeas to meal prep for the week and am planning on going back to lifting weights 3 days a week and running 2 days a week starting Monday.

Happy Sunday, all! I had a much better month ever since receiving some unsettling news at the doctors' last month. I've been working really hard on my WOE and I'm staying active every day - no excuses. I'm now averaging 4-5 workout days per week again - a combination of lifting weights and running with some yoga now and again. I can tell my body is firming up, I'm getting stronger, and my clothes are fitting much better. I stopped working with my coach and stopped weighing in every day because her advice was starting to trigger what I consider to be unhealthy behavior. It's hard work and it's hard to find ways to fit into my already busy schedule, but it's so much better than the alternative. I plan on weighing in in a few weeks and going back to my doctor for new labs.
