Easiest prepped breakfast ever. Nonfat Greek yogurt, low fat cottage cheese, drizzle of honey, and berries. Today’s was 230 cals and 36g protein.

Came into the office today (even though Monday is a work from home day) to meet my new employee and she didn’t show. In addition to that, much drama at the office has been giving me crazy anxiety and stress that have been unavoidable. What a way to start the work week. Anyway. Office days mean breakfast is cottage cheese and Greek yogurt with berries and chia seeds. Lunch is a big salad with chicken. I ran out of time to prep the salad in advance (and gobbled up all the chicken I cooked for it last night), so I went for my favorite at Chop’t. I'm $20 poorer, but it was a lovely salad. Making zoodles with ground turkey for dinner tonight. No time or energy to lift weights, but I’ll definitely jog before bed. Happy Monday, folks.

Eating like queens. Shared some delicious marinated angus beef and omelette with the kids today for breakfast . Estimating about 400 cals and 45g of protein for myself this morning.

Absolutely LOVE my new walking pad. I’ve done a 20 min walk/jog every night since I got it last Sunday and I feel great. This was tonight after dinner. Tomorrow I plan to jog the full 2 miles. It really gets a nice sweat going. My only regret is not investing in one sooner.

Nice active day with my kids today. Now that they’re older and can entertain themselves a lot more, I’m able to work out while we’re all at home. I remember only being able to work out while they were napping or down for the night when they were smaller, but now that they’re 6, it’s a lot easier. So I lifted weights for an hour while they played and ran twice on my walking pad. We also went out for a while and walked around the neighborhood, went to the playground, and ran a few errands. Not mad at my step count for the day honestly!
