The scale can lie... Ive heard it by many and I always have believed it to be true....
I was busy today and I didn't have time to stop to eat, it was late afternoon when I returned home so I decided to just hop on the scale to see if it had change because of the fact that I had a high sodium meal Thursday.
Well guess what? its the same day but several hours different and I was down another lb.
I do believe you should take your measurements also if your weighing.
This was a positive for me but maybe next time my weight will elevate due to sodium, water retention, etc. so don't be discourage if you didn't get the results you wanted this week and you had followed your program to a tee, the scale can lie.

Ive lost 2 lbs. this week I had measured today and I had lost an inch in my waist, an 1 1/2 inches in my hips, and an inch in my thighs. I really do need to incorporate my exercise program today.
I want to drink twice as much water this week and go back to view my intake from last week and adjusted it to get me to be able to begin induction of 20 carb intake instead of a range of 25-30.

Began 2/26/15 on the Atkins program , I am going through menopause and have put on an extra 25 lbs. by just being completely wreck less with what I consume so I have decided its time to take a hold of my health again.
I do well with the Atkins program as a way of diet and its usually due to holidays that I gain 10 lbs. during the holiday months because I eat whatever I want and well, I shouldn't.
I guess with the change and the lack of exercise, not eating right etc. Im at this weight.
I am looking forward to feeling better and for spring to arrive I have a goal of 4/24 oz bottles of water daily, Im a diet soda junky so its been difficult but I almost feel like I got this, no soda so far today.
Wrapping my mind around this is for my life style will be my main goal, Im excited today for I know how good I feel when Im doing whats better for me.
