Carbs????
If you are diabetic or insulin resistant or have any other medical issues carb will probably effect you differently. Personally I'm insulin resistant so I do much better if I stay away from the "simple" carbs like candy. But... some brown rice (or something along those lines) won't increase my cravings or appetite.

I can not eat sometimes!
I did atkins and I experienced a decrease in appetite, maybe not as drastic as you're experiencing. I don't think you should toture yourself by forcing yourself to eat. I know the conventional wisdom has been that you need to eat in order to prevent "starvation mode" however recently there has been evidence that contradicts that. I suggest doing a google search on "starvation mode myth" or something along those lines.

Confession Time...what's your secret?!?!?!?
My "secret" is that after I drop off my daughter at school I normally go to 7-eleven and eat a bag of caramel popcorn, 2 or 3 mini reese's and a taquito. Definetly NOT something I want my husband to see me do. (oh and I've recently gained BACK 10 lbs. so apparently I need to pretend that my husband is ALWAYS around me)

I'm eating"out for the first time ....
Tuna salad "should" be safe but sometimes the mayo has added sugar. Depending on where you go there are plenty of options (except if you go to a pizza joint). If you do Mexican get fajita's with steak/chicken/shrimp (whatever) and onions & peppers. Deli: chef salad sans croutons. Where are you going? I'm sure you can stay on plan & feel "normal".
