I am finally losing weight. I think the first week my body held on to the fat, now it is starting to come off. One thing that has been amazing about this diet is my weight has not fluctuated up & down, it is the same or goes down. I am getting used to not eating until 4pm. There were a few days I ate fattening things and expected to gain, but I didn't. I'ts great knowing I can eat what I want and not gain.

I am waiting until Friday to weigh in. Things are going great! I haven't cheated once. This diet is so liberating! I was hungry the 2nd day, and had pork carnitas burritos for dinner, I haven't had that in months! I felt guilty but I didn't eat too much. Then yesterday I wasn't hungry until 6pm. I am not eating as healthy as I want but I feel great. I no longer feel bloated all the time, I have more energy and more free time since I am not planning & preparing my meals all day.

Yesterday went well. I wasn't hungry all day, just drank lemon water, white tea and plain water all day. My first meal was at 4:30 I had some rice noodle soup w/ half the seasoning & salt packet. I don't get home until 7:30 on Mondays and my hubby was heating up some chicken tortilla soup so I had the soup w/ cheese on it, some raw vegies w/ ranch dressing and a glass of wine.

I found a new diet here (fast-5) I am switching to that diet. It seems like it will be perfect for me. You basically only eat between 5 & 10 pm (I am choosing 4& 9pm). I don't have time to eat during the day and I am so sick of planning, preparing and worrying if my mini meals have the right calories and protein/carb ratios! I even bought a watch with 3 alarm settings on it to remind me to eat every 3 hours because I am so busy I just forget to eat. I have been doing this for 3 years and obviously it is not working for me. I'll post any results on friday.

For the past few weeks my husband and I have gone camping every weekend! We just got our boat running and have been testing it out. I lose 3lbs every week, then I gain it back on the weekends. This weekend we stayed out on the lake too late and didn't eat anything but breakfast for 2 days, so I actually lost 1 lb this weekend. I am hoping i can get back on track this week.
