It is with much soul-searching that I have come back to Weight Watchers. I was on the South Beach Diet for less than a month, and have been pretty discouraged. I'm doing great, weight-loss wise, but have felt kind of lethargic and haven't been able to exercise as much. I also am starting the trasition to a vegan lifestlye, and I hear that vegans do well with Weight Watchers... I do feel like I didn't give south beach a great chance, but I also just don't think it's right for me. So, I spent a little over 50 bucks and signed up for three months of ww.com. Maybe the initial investment will be enough to keep me going. Also, I like that I can pretty much eat/drink what I want as long as I stay in the points range.

I definately am feeling better about my diet. I need to go to the grocery store and stock up. The only thing I think I will have problems with is "less processed foods" because I have fallen in love with South Beach meal replacement bars and South Beach frozen pizzas! And I assume that I shouldn't be eating these items on a daily basis? Oh well, at least it's not poptarts and digiorno. :-)

I haven't weighed myself in a few days. My pants are all looser, though, so I'm hoping for a good number when I step on there tomorrow. I'm only a couple of pounds away from my first mini-goal of 205. I can't wait to get below 200! Hmmm... what else is there to say? I have been considering switching diet plans to something more vegetarian than South Beach, for many reasons, one of which is I haven't had much energy on this diet. I think it's all the meat and dairy that I consume.

I am feeling optimistic, once again, as another pound goes away... I ate at Chik-fil-a last night, and it did have some south beach diet appropriate food. Chicken salad sandwich on whole wheat bread with a small bowl of fruit! Yummy! It's great to have found a fast food place that has healthy options. (I did take one piece of bread off, FYI) :-) I don't plan to do this regularly, but it's nice when my boyfriend just has to have his fried fattening food that I can eat a healthy alternative and still be completely satisfied.
