My weight history chart has ADD. Typical. It's Geminiacal. Figures.
De rigueur, I didn't record my calories over the weekend. No biggy. But here we are at Wednesday and, what with one thing and another, I've had little interest in giving a damn about any of this this week.
On Sunday I made deliciously evil carnitas which have provided me with a reason/excuse/taco filling since then. (Ref taco whore in profile photo. I'd crawl a mile for a taco.)
Yesterday, Steve and I had massages. After a massage, I care not for standing at the stove (plus, we had a coupon so what could I do, right?), so we went to Bunz & Company and OMG they had cheesy-potato soup. OMG OMG it was delish! Tiny cup; probably 42zillion calories and I Don't Care.
It's just a phase, yo. I'll get over this.

Poop. I was So Good last week. I really expected I'd be down at least a pound, but nooooo. Steve says he's not trying to sabotage me, but last night he came home with pinks-n-whites. I didn't eat any. I did, however, consume a veritable bucket of macaroni salad. And it was delicious.

Okay, so just for the record, I kept my promise to ellip during Jeopardy on Monday. Tuesday I had a massage at 5:00, so felt that ellipping after that would be wasting the massage, so just relaxed. Wednesday, Steve was playing his stupid MyFace or World of TwitCraft or whateverthefrack he plays in there, so instead of commandeering the TV he was using for that, I went ahead and watched J in the living room but spent the time - okay, half the time - majorly stretching, yoga-ing, if you will. Even if you won't. I did. I swear. And the stretching felt good. I need to do more of that.

Friday night Steve, Bill and I tried a new Italian restaurant. We really liked it - the food was great and the atmosphere was small, cafe-like, and authentically Italian. However, I spent all Friday night in the bathroom, writhing and belly-aching, and ultimately lost 1.5 lb!
We all ate some of each other's food that evening, yet I was the only one to get sick. The only thing I can figure is that the beef in the lasagna hit me wrong...since I'm not generally a beef eater.
Not the best way to lose weight, but I figure I'll try to take advantage of the situation and not put it back on.
Overall, I've done well with the whole "eat better" part of my diet, but not so well with the "and move more" part. I haven't mounted the elliptical in dog-knows-how-long, so I'm making a mini-challenge for myself this week. Since it's pretty much a given that I'll be in front of the boob tube for Jeopardy each evening, I'm going to spend that half-hour on the elliptical. Also, I've got two buckets + 7 large zippy bags full of ivy cuttings from Bill's yard that I must plant along the back fence this week. I intend to plant at least one zippy bag a day, even if it's raining. So there.

Perhaps I underestimated myself. I got ALL the ivy planted today. Ta-da!
