Was able to get on the elliptical at therapy today for 5 minutes - wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be!!! He said I can start back at the gym doing some cardio on the bike and elliptical. I'm so excited!

Gained this week, but I'm not surprised because I felt like I had. Followed the diet pretty well, but being that I was not measuring and recording, I'm sure I've overdone it. Started measuring yesterday, and I can tell I've been going over. So, hopefully this week will be better. I think my new fav. lattes have had a good bit of carbs in them. I haven't been measuring the heavy cream. The carton says less than 1 g per serving which is 1T, so how do I determine the carbs if I have like 1/4C? I'm not down about the weight gain, but determined!!! :-)

I'm going to concentrate on measuring and recording this week - think I've been underestimating carbs. I think it might surprise me to see hw many I've really been eating :-( Only about a month before I head to Missouri - got to get my rear in gear!!!! The knee is doing a lot better. Go to therapy on Tuesday and Thursday - my goal is to be walking without any limp by the end of the week! Yes, lots of goals this week lol And I'm starving right now, but just cleaned the stove and mopped the kitchen floor so I'll have to wait until it dries :-(

Happy mother's day all! Just finished lunch with my mom. Fixed a nice pork roast. I did splurge a little on some of my mom's banana/cherry salad. It was worth it, and I enjoy a nice treat every now and then :-) Hope you all have a great day!!!

Had a Mary Kay party last night and set myself up with good snacks :-) We had cheese, meatballs, almonds, pickles, blueberries and then the two not so goods (which I didn't eat any of) chips & salsa & choc. chunk cookies. Had to keep in mind that not everyone is eating this way :-) Had a good time, and may have had more carbs than I should have, but it was more carbs of the things I'm supposed to eat!
