Hi my name is Chris. I am a 51 year old woman who has fought the weight issue my entire life. I think I have tried every diet out there including eating 1 cup of cottage cheese for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, for a whole 2 weeks and nothing else. Didn't loose, needless to say.
I am married to a wonderful man who is also overweight. We are trying to loose weight together with the Body for Life Diet. His weight is falling off and mine isn't.
I have two great kids. They are 21 and 19 but both still live at home.
I am a workaholic working two full time jobs. I am a speech therapist for county schools in Ohio. On the weekends, I work a full time position as a home health care provider. Not a lot of extra time .
Improvements I need to make are in time management for meal preparations. Also need to include exercise, which I really have a hard time doing. When I do have some free time, I sure don't want to exercise. I just want to curl up with a good book, or watch my favorite shows on TV.
