advice for toning arms please
Thanks, Im also doing the couch to 5k runs and am on week 3 now, so thats plenty for me who never did any exercise before, Ive been doing 20 triceps curls per arm using the 1 kg weight then 10 exercises using 2 kg per arm following the kickbacks exercises on the bodybuilding site, then 10 normal lifts per arm using the 4 kg weight once or twice a day ie before and after work- for past 6 days, my arms feel great, firmer thanks.. I knew I was getting middle age spread, Im 50 in Oct, and never dreamed Id ever get my tummy flat in a million years, Ive had a monsoon dress for 2y I could not do the zip up, its still got the tags on it, and I had it on this morning, I recon 1 more cm to go and it will be just right. I am very pleased.

Yes- true, I can feel the muscle moving under there- biceps are not too bad from carrying heavy shopping and walking dogs on leads etc, but dieting alone surely would not give my arms tone and strength? How many of those exercises would you start with if you were an absolute beginner? Thanks for the advice.

Hi, I would like to tone up my arms, and have two 1 kg weights, and one 4 kg dumbbell, I did look on a body building site, and saw the tricep kickback. How many a day would I start with bearing in mind I don't want to injure myself? Would 15 each side every day do anything at all for my flabby arms? Im on the 2nd week of the couch to 5k so my legs feel a lot firmer than my arms ! Thanks Joanne
